The Centre for Resolution of Emergency Situation declared that 106 bank accounts have been frozen

The Centre for Resolution of Emergency Situation declared that 106 bank accounts have been frozen as a measure to cut support for red-shirt protesters.

The CRES said the accounts include 13 firms.

Those whose bank accounts are frozen include red-shirt leaders and former Thai Rak Thai excutives. The accounts of former prime minister Thaksin Shinawatra, and his family and Maj Gen Khattiya Sawasdiphol were also frozen

The CRES has announced 17 and 18 will be Government holiday in Bangkok area. Most of Embassy in Bangkok will be closed for the security reason. If you wish to go to your embassy please contact your embassy before going to Bangkok.
