Chonburi FC and Pattaya United Kick off the Thai Premier League with a Winning Start
The Sponsor Premier League finally began after it was postponed for nearly two weeks due to the political chaos.
The first match was between Chonburi FC and Thai Port in which Chonburi FC defeated Thai Port with the score of 3-0. Mr. Akephun Intasaen scored the first goal in just 15 minutes followed by Mr. Artit Suntornpit who scored in second goal 40 minutes later. The winning goal was scored by Mr. Terdsuk Jaimun in the 87th minute of the game.
As for Pattaya United, the first match was competed with the Royal Thai Army who lost with the score of 3-1. The first goal was scored in just one minute in the game by Mr. Ludowich Tagum and followed by Mr. Tana Chanaboot who scored two goals in the 38th and 45th minutes of the match. Mr. Ja Jing Young was able to score one goal for the Royal Thai Army during the 86th minutes of the game.
All of the 240 matches that will be competed in this year’s Thai Sponsor Premier League will be broadcast on True Visions Siam Sport as well as Channel 11.
Don’t forget to support Chonburi FC in their next match which they will play against TTM Phichit on April 10 at the Chonburi Physical Education College at 6pm. Pattaya United will be competing with Thai Port on April 11 at the Thai Port Football field at 4:00 pm.
As for the recent match that was played between Pattaya United and Chonburi FC, Chonburi FC won with a score of 1-2. The first goal was scored by Pattaya United in the first half but Pattaya United conceded two goals to Chonburi FC in the second half. Chonburi FC now has six points.
