Bang Pra

Playing the third Stableford game this week it was a close fought tussle today with only one point separating the top three. A downpour which lasted for forty minutes or so didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits especially John Graham who won today by one point ahead of Lee Butler who only beat Gerry Cooney on a count back, and Geoff Hart squeezed into the money scoring 34 points to nick fourth place!

Results:

1st John Graham - (hcp 11) 37 pts

2nd Lee Butler - (hcp 17) 36 pts

3rd Gerry Cooney - (hcp 13) 36 pts

4th Geoff Hart - (hcp 17) 34 pts.

Near pin winners – Only three hit, Mashie got one and Lee Butler got the other two.

Treasure Hill

Gerry Cooney started off April like he means business scoring 35 points at Treasure Hill which is not easy to do, winning by three points from Jack Robertson, Mashie trailing in third with a measly 28 points.

Results:

1st Gerry Cooney - (hcp 13) 35 pts

2nd Jack Robertson - (hcp 24) 32 pts

3rd Mashie Kaneta - (hcp 11) 28 pts

Near Pin Winners – It’s always difficult to hit the par three’s at Treasure Hill and so it proved to be today, only two getting hit, John Graham and Gordon Melia being the lucky ones.

St Andrews

Playing St Andrews made a pleasant change for the Bunker Boy’s and what a lovely day for golf it was. William Macey certainly thought so as he won by two points ahead of Paul Edgar and Gerry Cooney came in third.

Results:

1st William Macey - (hcp 15) 38 pts

2nd Paul Edgar - (hcp 17) 36 pts

3rd Gerry Cooney - (hcp 13) 35 pts

Near Pin Winners – PJ won one and Gerry Cooney cleaned up by winning the other three!
