Most of the Bunker Boy’s played in the Pattaya Sports Club Annual Charity Tournament so there was another small feld today. Playing a friendly game of Stableford Mashi was the big winner as he won the competition and one of the near pins making it a nice proftable day for him! Don McPherson came runner up and Peter Habgood claimed third place.

2nd Don McPherson (hcp 21) - 36 pts
3rd Peter Habgood (hcp 19) - 33 pts

Near pin winners – Only three greens hit, Don, wife Jackie and Mashie won ‘em.

Wednesday, March 10
Phoenix

A smaller feld today meant there was only one fight and Paul Smith, playing on home turf, took the honours again winning with a one under score, Gordon Melia beat Laurence Harding on a count back to take second place.

1st Paul Smith (hcp 3) nett 71
2nd Gordon Melia (hcp 15) nett 73
3rd Laurence Harding (hcp 18) nett 73

Near Pin Winners – Paul Smith won two of these to make it a very successful day for him, the other two going to Mashi and Colin Greig

Monday, March 8
Pleasant Valley

Lady Golfer Jackie McPherson had another win today, repeating her success at Rayong Country Club she had last week but not with quite so many points! Jackie won the B Flight with 40 pts well ahead of Laurence Harding and Lee Butler who both finished with 33 pts, Laurence taking the runner up spot on a count back. Tony Scambler’s 36 pts was enough to win the A Flight, Mashi claimed second place and Gerry Cooney third.
