Good hearted people from all over the world donated million of baht for the Father Ray Foundation to build six new houses which can hold up to 10 children per house.

The children at the Father Ray Foundation took the opportunity to thank the guests and donors by performing a melodic version of Michael Jackson’s ‘We are the World’ while being dressed by the internationally known fashion designer Opal Sangnark.

Opal revealed that she has been working overtime to put the fnishing touches on the children’s costumes which incorporate the national fags of the donors. The money was donated from countries such as Canada, England, Hong Kong, Ireland, Korea, Norway, Singapore and Thailand.

The highlight of the day was when the ten children along with their two “mothers” moved into their new homes called Hibiscus and Lily houses, which were built using money donated by Singapore’s Watt family at a cost of over 2 million baht.

Donors were presented with replica house plaques during the opening day and  joined  the staff  to plant fowers in the new gardens of the new homes. Guests got the opportunity to view inside the newly constructed and furnished houses before they departed.
