Pattaya to Enter Guinness Book of World Records Again

Pattaya International Fashion Week is being held on April 8-11 at Central Festival Pattaya Beach with the highlight being the 1.6 kilometer long catwalk to break the previous world record. The purpose of the event is to promote tourism in Pattaya and to show the world that Pattaya is an international tourist and fashion destination. The Pattaya International Fashion Week will also enable Thai designers get their name out globally as well as give the new generation of designers a chance to show off their craft.



Pattaya International Fashion Week will be a boost to the local economy in Pattaya along with setting a new standard for the modeling industry with the longest beachside runway ever.

The Pattaya International Fashion Week will gather all of the leading models into one place. They will be dressed in the most fabulous Thai designed clothing from 10 leading brands. The models will be strutting their stuff and entertaining the crowd with the latest spring and summer collection along the 1.6 kilometer runway. The four-day long event will also feature performances by Thai singers and well known DJs. There will also be a Young Designer Competition, Hair Style Contest, and Leatherwear and Jewelry Competition.

This competition is being organized by Pattaya City, the Ministry of Commerce, the Department of Export Promotion, The Tourism Authority of Thailand and Central Festival Pattaya Beach.
