The Pattaya Redemptorist School for Blind Children Hold Annual Sports Day

The Pattaya Redemptorist School for Blind Children held an annual sports day to give the children a chance to show off their sporting skills and prepare themselves for the upcoming Students with Disability Sporting Competition Thailand. 

Mrs. Alorra Sribuaphan, Director of The Pattaya Redemptorist School for Blind Children said, “We have been holding the sports day for our students since 1993. Apart from teaching our students the necessary subjects stated in the curriculum we also promote all of the students to take part in sports. We encourage our students to exercise, get healthy and develop their team playing skills. Many of our students have even competed in national competitions.

This year 31 of our students will be competing in the Student with Disability Sporting Competition Thailand which will be held in Surinthorn.”The Sports day was a fun-flled day withsmiles and laughter on the children’s faces. The highlight of the day was the cheer-team contest. Events competed on the day were running, relaying, swimming and football. After the games the winners were awarded with medals and gifts from the Mayor of Nongprue Mai Chaiyanit. 

Some of the spectators included Pattaya Deputy Mayor Ronnakit Ekkasing, Director of The Pattaya Redemptorist School for Blind Children Alorra Sribuaphan and Chairman of the Tourism and Sports Association Rattanachai Dechanai.
