Pattaya’s Best Backyard Hosts Golf and Fishing Day For Banglumung Orphans

The owners of "The Backyard" kindly opened up their home to twenty children from the Banglumung Boys Home. They were entertained with fshing in their two lakes and also taught interested children how to putt on the golf greens.The day was organized by the Optimist Club of Thailand for boys aged between eight and eleven.

After a morning of fshing,the boys were given a Bar-B-Q lunch after which some of the boys had their frst game of golf while others continued fshing.Many fsh were caught during the day which were taken back to the orphanage to be eaten by the childen.



One of the boys lands a 12 metre putt.

“The Backyard” consists of a fve hole par 2 golf course shaped by Craig Bertram and built in a spectaculary landscaped garden of 4.5 rai, located near the Chak Nok reservoir.

Owner Elle, her lucky husband Larry, and their daughter Amy live on the property with the course built in their backyard which would have to be every golfers dream. The two lakes prove to be tricky water hazards and there are fve bunkers as well. The greens and fairways are beautifully manicured to a standard equal to a top golf course. The course can have up to 16 players playing at the same time and competitions are planned for the near future.

The Backyard also has a well designed bar overlooking the course with seating for 30 people which has screens to watch golf and other sports. Food is available as well.
