New Islamic Test Center Opens

The Dar-hrul-ei-ba-da mosque located in Central Pattaya will a center where Islamic students can come and take the test after graduating from an Islamic school to highten their religious level.

Mr. Noppadol Suwamin, Director of the Dar-hrul-ei-ba-da mosque said, “At the moment there are 13 Islamic Schools in Pattaya, 5 in Chonburi, and all together of 79 Islamic schools across the country. Every year there are about 500 students from Pattaya to who take the test.”

Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wattana Jantarawaranon added, “The opening of the Dar-hrul-ei-ba-da mosque will be a center for the Islamic community to cherish and unite. The mosque will also be a place where students can come and continue their learning about the Islamic religion. These students will surely grow up to be good citizens in the community.”

The event was attended by many well known names of the Islamic community such as Ajarn Arun Wanaelong, President of the Islamic Teachers Association of Thailand under the Royal Patronage together, Ajarn Udorn Phansaart, President of the Islamic Committee of Bangkok, Pattaya Deputy Mayor Wattana Jantarawaranon, and Vice President of the Islamic Committee of Chonburi and Member of the Pattaya City Council Fahruk Wongborisut.
