PTT Pattaya Open Being Held at Dusit Thani Pattaya From February 7 – 14

Since 2009 the tournament has been upgraded to be part of the new international series of tournaments, which have minimum prize money of US$220,000. As well as being upgraded in 2009 the tournament was renamed the PTT Pattaya Open, when PTT Public Co., Ltd joined as the title sponsor alongside Pattaya City.

This year’s PTT Pattaya Open held at the Dusit Thani will be featuring an exciting line-up of international players including last year’s singles champion Vera Zvonareva (world-ranked # 9) and defending doubles champions Tamarine Tanasugarn of Thailand and Yaroslava Shvedova of Kazakhstan. Young stars such as Sabine Lisicki of Germany, Stefanie Voegele of Switzerland and Ayumi Moritaof Japan among others, are also participating.
