TAT Appoints Ryo Ishikawa as ‘Golf Ambassador of Thailand’

The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced that Ryo Ishikawa, a young Japanese player who is a rising star in world golf, has accepted its invitation to be the Golf Ambassador of Thailand.



Mr. Ishikawa, known as the “Bashfu Prince,” will help promote Thailand as a tourist destination with a focus on promoting golf tourism to Japanese visitors.

A press conference attended by Mr. Vichai Srikwan, Chairman of the TAT Board of Directors, Mr. Suraphon Svetasreni, Governor of the Tourism Authority of Thailand, and Mr. Ishikawa took place at the Amata Spring Country Club Golf in Chonburi.
