The 7th Mercedes–Benz & B.Grimm Thai Polo Open 2010
The three teams consisting of the Thai Polo team in orange who placed third, the winning team Harilela the Next Level in red and Jogo Elevation team in blue who came second cheered for the victory.
More than 400 residients of Pattaya from dozens of countries joined the Bangkok elite and international polo enthusiasts for the final games of the 10-day event of the biggest Polo competition in South East Asia, the Mercedes-Benz & B.Grimm Thai Polo Open 2010 for the H.R.H Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn Cup.
The event came to a close with the Harilela the Next Level defeating the Jogo Elevation team 8-1. The tournament and final round was held at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club, Pattaya on Saturday, January 16 in front of a VIP crowd of more than 1,200 spectators.

Some of the VIPs relaxed in the tent while some sat in front of the Club House to watch the exciting game.
The thrilling event was organized by Mr. Harald Link, C.E.O of B.Grimm Group and businesswoman Nunthinee Tanner to raise funds for the Chitralada Vocational School project under the patronage of HRH Princess Maha Chakri Sirindhorn as part of the Royal Malaysian Polo Association's five tournament competition to find the best polo team in South East Asia.
Thousands of polo match fans joined and cheered the tournament including VIP guests Saudi charge d'affaires to Thailand H.E.Nabil Hussein Ashri and H.E.Air Chief Marshal Kamthon Sindhvananda, Privy Councillor.Other notable guests included Ms.Jitrsumarn Amatyakul,Ms. Luckana Chumpa , Ms.Sarindhone Ratrimchong,Ms.Sasinun Lochaya, Ms.Vorapimsook Pongsamai Mrs.Apinya Sevatasai,Mr.Komson Sevatasa.
Mr. Chanyute Hedrakool, Pattaya Mayor Ittipol Kunplume and YWCA leaders Noreerat and Nittaya.

The guests enjoyed a buffet lunch and English High Tea in an open marquee and had fun with variety of activities and games. One of the most popular parts of the event happened at halftime, when spectators were invited onto the field to stomp divots. At this time, elegant dresses and fancy hats were showed off onto the field.
A community of high, white linen tents were erected on the amazingly green, well groomed lawns of the 2,000 rai Thai polo & Equestrian Club, Pattaya near Siam Coutry Club. The fabulous lunch buffet was catered by the Sofitel Hotel Bangkok under an enormous high pitched canopied tent with seating for more than 600 guests at a time. There were VIP tents at the edge of the polo field at center court sponsored by Pattaya times, B.Grimm, Thailand Tatler, and others.

Champagne flowed freely and hors d'oeuvres were served on silver platters by gloved wait staff. People greeted one another with the tip of the hat and a warm handshake.
There were booths touting the elite lifestyle choices many guests would make with the Royal Phuket Marina, La Maritina, Paris Spa, Pattaya Times, Herald Tribune, L'Oc
The memorable day ended with a cocktail party and beautiful fireworks lighting up the sky over the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club to celebrate the fantastic polo match.
