Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta 2009 Once Again a Great Success

The highlight of the event was the fancy balloon that won the ‘My Favorite Balloon of the Year’ contest along with live concerts and the showing of movies via gigantic projectors on the university ground.

There were also the children’s playground that was a hit with the kids, the Miss Balloon contest that captured every man’s eyes, and the amazing ‘Light and Sound Model Balloon show’.

Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome who officially opened the event said, “Pattaya International Balloon Fiesta 2009 is one of the most anticipated events in Pattaya. It is also one of the biggest events held here in Pattaya. Every year has been such an amazing success. I hope that we will have more than 40 balloons next year.”
