Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Begins Their ‘Love Trees and Reduce Global Warming’ Project

Students were eager to learn about the ‘Love Tree and Reduce Global Warming’ project held at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden.


Nong Nooch Tropical Garden Pattaya recently began their new project ‘Love Trees and Reduce Global Warming’ with the purpose of educating the local youth about the importance of the environment. The project included members from the government and private sectors.



This project was first implemented in Chonburi and will expand to other provinces early next year.

Mr. Manijh Narintaruk, Vice President of the project said, “The Nong Nooch Botanical Garden Foundation recognizes the current situation of global warming that is affecting the world. This is why we have created the ‘Love Trees and Reduce Global Warming’ project. We also want to dedicate this project to His Majesty the Kings 82nd Birthday.”

“The project included an exhibition and other educational activities concerning reducing global warming. The highlight was the 10-station reducing global warming game which consisted of stations such as reducing water usage, preserve natural habitats, and how to grow vegetables using less water,” added Mr. Manijh.

The project was attended by children from over 100 schools across Thailand as well as other exhibitors amounting to more than 20,000 people.

Mr. Manijh continued, “The project is intended on educating Thai youth about the correct knowledge Students were eager to learn about the ‘Love Tree and Reduce Global Warming’ project held at Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. and understanding while at the same time creating a right perspective towards loving the trees and help to reduce global warming. Students from both public and private schools can take part in this event.”
