More than 100 of Pattaya Police and Police Volunteers escorted two of the five men who staged a daring daylight robbery with assault rifles and black clothing with face masks in paramilitary style on a Jomtien gold shop on May 4 to reenact their crime.

One of the onlookers said, “I am very impressed to know that Pattaya police have already captured three men. It makes me feel safe living in Pattaya because the police here are seriously paying attention to crime suppression. On behalf of the people, I would like to applaud and thank the Pattaya Police for doing such an excellent job. ”

This was the most daring robbery in Pattaya since the bank robbery two years ago by Russian nationals with a Thai accomplice, who was all also caught by Pattaya Police.
