ITCC AT LIAMS GALLERY
Local members and friends of The Irish Thai Chamber Of Commerce (ITCC) mingled with dedicated art lovers at Liam’s Art Gallery in Soi9 off Pratumnak Road to attend what turned out to be a highly interesting evening. These deceptively large multi floored gallery easily catered for the big crowd of mainly Irish expats with fine wine a& food being well presented by Liam’s staff, in a highly organized manner, that is the hallmark of Thailand’s most famous Irish business entrepreneurs.
The gallery was hosting a very special art exhibition of the paintings of the famous Thai artist Mr. Prayuth, who lived from 1940 until 2005 and was known as Thailand’s modest artist” but was none the less widely recognized as the best artist of his day. ITCC Eastern Seaboard Director Mary Walsh stated that the Bangkok based Irish Chamber of Commerce, intended to be more active in Pattaya and the Eastern seaboard next year, and pare planning several events, possibly in conjunction with another business chamber.
