Woodlands Hotel & Resort’s General Manager, Stephane Bringer recently competed with the world’s best triathletes at the Ironman World Championship 70.3 in Clearwater Beach, Florida, USA by proudly representing Thailand. The Ironman World Championship 70.3 is held every year in Florida USA with a field of 2,000 athletes from over 50 different countries.
Athletes willing to compete to this prestigious event must qualify at one of several Ironman races held throughout the world. An Ironman 70.3 comprise of a challenging 1,9km. swim, 90km. bike and 21.1km. run, which Stephane managed to complete in 04hrs.42min.12 sec. It is with pride Woodlands, Pattaya City and Thailand were represented to this year’s event.
