3D TV: Closer than You Think
The boost to the economy will come from consumers and Thailand, like America, much of Europe and Japan have come, to its salvation, in a consumer driven economy. Many business case studies on improving worker productivity start with the premise that people work as hard as they need to get consumer items they want, or more importantly, what their wives or children want.
Television may be the answer. The bulky, Cathode Ray Tubed TVs were replaced by the sleeker fat screens. Then plasma TVs were the rage only to be outdone, most afcionados will say, by the LCD TVs, so then they need to be High Definition (HD) “ready.”
Now the industry is gearing up for an LCD TV that offers 3D without glasses. Here is what is in the works and will be offered soon :
Auto stereoscopic 3D displays that enable the 3D experience without the need for special glasses.
Multi view slanted lenticular lens technology that leads to full brightness, full contrast, and true color representation. This allows multiple users to experience 3D at the same time. 3D & 2D dual mode technology for high quality viewing of both 3D and 2D content on a single display.
Integrated display signal processing and hardware engines gives full control over the quality and depth effect characteristics of the picture.
Hollywood is already shooting some big productions in 3D. They also know that soon, everybody will want to see their favorite movie in 3D .
Having a night in with your friends, and watching the latest movies, the coolest shows, and the most important sporting events, will all be available in a 3D mode. Even games like XBox and Play station will have it.
There will be great opportunities for consumers, as well as businesses and the professional market. Just imagine what 3D can do for the medical field in diagnostics.
This massive breakthrough in TV technology 3D has now been demonstrated, and will change the way TV is viewed. It also offers a massive new breakthrough for advertisers, movie makers, and game makers.
