ANZAC Day Australian ‘Footy’ Game

Siripun Sinbuathong 21.03.2009 20:30

It was announced that there will be an Australian “footy” match played between the Thailand Tigers and the Hanoi Swans on Saturday 25th of April, starting at 1:30 pm.

The game will be played at the Visut High School in Kanchanaburi.

There will be plenty of seats, food and beverages available at the venue. Kanchanaburi is approximately a two-hour drive from Pattaya.

This is one game Australians and New Zealanders should not miss because it is being played on ANZAC day and it’s sure to bring many ‘Aussies” together with some friendly rivalry, but more importantly great mate ship and memories of those who have fallen during previous wars throughout the decades.

So make a day of it and head off to Kanchanaburi and attend the ANZAC Day services, plus watch these two Australian teams “go at it for the diggers” and enjoy a great weekend of “reflection, footy and mateship”. For more information contact Mr.  Andy Teague via email andy@intrepidthailand.com
