The Sattahip Municipality will provide various free learning courses and lunches for their kids during the upcoming summer vacation.

The Mayor of Sattahip, Mr. Phairoj Malakun Na Ayhudhaya, presided over the ‘Summer Educational Tuition Courses for Kids’ project last week at the Singha Samut School gymnasium in Sattahip.

The project’s objective was highlighted to Mr. Phairoj by Sattahip Municipality Deputy Inspector Mr. Akkaradet Nuchuay, who stated that according to section 281 of the B.E. 2550 Thai Institution Law, the local administration has the legal right to organize supplementary educational learning courses and career training courses for local students. These lessons are an important educational opportunity that will enhance the students’ learning.

This program is intended to keep young people involved in further education, keeping them away from anti social behavior and petty crime over the summer break.

The Sattahip Municipality will provide courses in English, Mathematics, Information Technology and other skill development courses.

By participating in these courses the students will be well prepared for the next school semester.

This educational training course is for both primary and secondary school students from grades four to eight. It will officially commence on March 9-31 with an expected number of 360 students attending.
