The Optimist International Club of Thailand is soliciting donations of children’s books to be distributed to primary schools in Thailand.

Books should be for children beginning reading up to age 15. English books are preferable but children’s books of all languages will be appreciated. Books may be dropped off at the Pattaya Times office on Pattaya Tai near Sukhumvit.

Books will also be accepted at the Optimist Club meetings at 12 noon to 2 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at Shenanigans Irish Pub at The Avenue Mall. So don’t throw those old books away recycle and bring some joy to children who want to learn!
