The Australian Chamber of Commerce (AustCham), held another successful “Sundowner” networking evening at Pattaya’s Dusit-D2 Hotel on South Pattaya’s Second Road.

The monthly AustCham business networking evenings are always very popular, and bring together a large number of business people not just from Australia but from every corner of the globe. Visitors are always welcome and often comment on the friendly Aussie hospitality, where everyone is friendly and the drinks never seem to run out.

This latest event received the full support of the Dusit-D2 hotel, who kindly supplied drinks and a top line range of food, including an authentic Aussie BBQ.

Other sponsors were the DTAC phone company plus “Allied Pickfords" whose claim to fame is that they are “the careful movers” in the freight business, and they generously gave away some very useful calendars for next year.

DTAC had some great new phone deals, where you could call to 14-countries with a 004 prefix for just 4-baht per minute. In an alternative scheme you can dial to over twenty other overseas countries for rates between 5 – 15 baht per minute with a monthly subscription fee of 30-baht.

With deals such as this, these monthly AustCham Sundowners stand out from all others on the business calendar, and whether you go for some business networking or just to meet new friends, you are sure to have an unforgettable night. AustCham members and friends always eagerly await the next “Sundowner’s' event, because of the interesting people that they come into contact with, the new business contacts and the new friendships that are formed.
