A seminar was recently held to educate local youth in dealing with the three important issues that adversely affect the younger local community.

These were Drugs, Decency & Democracy.

The seminar was held at the Town in Town Hotel in Central Pattaya for the purpose of helping the executive directors within Pattaya’s education industry and to increase awareness of the"3- D’s" - namely Decency ,moral and ethical, Democracy ,freedom and equality, and Drugs, which is a major problem affecting Pattaya's youth.

Students from many local schools attended to show the Governor of Chonburi, Khun Saenee Jittakasem, various material relating to the topics discussed. Mr. Jittakasem mingled and talked with the children about these topics. He showed keen interest as he talked with students about their specific projects and took notes.

The Governor spoke about his opinions of the 3-D’s, how they affect the community and the governments plans to bring about change. The speech was attended by local government officials, Buddhist Teachers, Catholic Nuns and a range of educational professionals from the local schools, colleges as well as representitives from private institutions.

The Srisuvit V-Star School in Laem Chabang proudly sponsored the event taking an active role in educating local children so that Pattaya and Thailand may have a brighter future.
