Pattaya plans improvements for Naklua to attract tourists
The Pattaya City administration wants to change Naklua’s main street into a designated walking street zone in order to improve tourism in the area. The project’s budget is expected to be more than 40 million baht.

Naklua will be set up as a walking street with traditional displays of ancient culture, including changing the district’s scenery into a colorful attraction for tourists. The whole project will cover four kilometers and will include several attractions such as museum exhibitions, theater shows to display traditional way of life, ancient fishing equipment, local goods and a seafood market.





Pattaya City Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome revealed that Naklua is the oldest location in Pattaya, which consists of many unique traditional values and culture. He will associate with relevant officials and organizations to transform Naklua into a sustainable tourism destination in the near future.
