Mekavarakul said, “This is the 17th year that Mike Shopping Mall Co., Ltd. has organized the event to commemorate the death anniversary of my late husband who is also the founder of this company the majority of donors are staff from the company but we have also employed public relation efforts to raise awareness in the city.”

The public community responds to the project very well at Somdej Hospital.

Mr. Surat Mekavarakul, Managing Director of the company stated, “We would like to thank all employees and participants who contributed to this worthwhile event.”

Reporters covering the event noted that, “The event was positively received by the public community and the company’s employees by large. The donation drive was open from 11:00 am – 4:00 pm and it was reported that there were more than 150 donators who contributed 147 bottles of 300 cc blood to the event organized by Somdej Hospital and Mike Shopping mall as part of their annual Royal Charity drive.”
