Conde Nast Traveller Names Phuket’s Anantara and Six Senses - Six Senses - Resort & Spa - Anantara - Conde Nast Traveller

Leading international travel magazine Conde Nast Traveller UK has recently named two Phuket's high-end resorts to their newly released ‘The Hot List 2009.’ Coming in at number 2 was the recently opened Anantara Phuket Resort and Spa in the growing Mai Khao area and Naka Yai’s Six Senses Destination Spa at number 50 on the list.

Both the Six Senses and Anantara chains are Thailand based and show the trend of regional brands now getting worldwide recognition and kudos. Both of these resorts are smaller and have significant local design elements. Clearly this show a shift in the market where guests desire more personal and unique hotels.
