Ambassador Eric G. John speaks on pillars of US-Thai trade and economic relations.

US Ambassador to Thailand Eric G. John delivered a speech entitled "The Pillars of US-Thai Trade and Economic Relations" to approximately sixty distinguished guests at a dinner hosted by the Stanford Alumni Club of Thailand in Bangkok on Wednesday, May 27.

Following the Ambassador’s remarks, the attendees who also included alumni of Harvard and Cornell Universities in the US, as well as others from Bangkok's Assumption University queried the Ambassador on a range of issues, including the possibility of reopening negotiations for a free trade agreement and US views of Thailand's recent political situation.
