Thai League prepares to broadcast live on Thai TV channels - NBT - Ongard Kohsaka - Thai Premier League - Vichit Boonyam


The 1st leg of Thai Premier League 2009 was recently successfully completed the end of June. It was attracted by million of fans across the country. This was a new phenomenon of Thailand sport society.



The 2nd leg, however, is prepared to be broadcast live on Thai Free-TV Channels by the beginning of this month. Thailand Football Confederation Secretary Mr. Ongard Kohsaka revealed that he has associated with Dr. Vichit Boonyam (President of Thai Premier League Company) to consult with Mr. Varawoot Rojanapanit (Chief of Sport Council) regarding the organizing format. Dr. Vichit explained on the overall situations of Thailand Premier League in the discussion meeting that there were many hindrances to obstruct the certain competing schedules. However, the result has come up satisfactory in different aspects such as the team managing style to be much more professional, number of spectators to be significantly increased.

Mr. Ongard continued to reveal that many uncontrollable problems such as weather and nonstandard competing fields could directly cause the broadcasting schedules to be changed or even stopped. However, Thailand Football Council will discuss the previously stated problems with NBT Channel management again in order to deal with the problems. Primarily NBT has already agreed to broadcast the next 8 matches of Thailand Premier League’s 2nd leg which will be held this month. However, all agreements and contracts concerning advertising need\ to be recon sided by the Thai Premier League Company and NBT Channel management in order to reach their negotiations accordingly. Apart from this, he has a plan to invite all Thai channels to be broadcasting alliances for every match, and all Thai channel management will be invited for a meeting in order to discuss this matter in the near future.
