Halloween: Pattaya Style

Mayor of Pattaya Mr. Itthipol Kunplome officially beginning the Halloween party.
The Pattaya Halloween Festival was held on October 30-31 with a party along Beach Road. There was a ‘Halloween Fancy Contest’ and performances from GMM Grammy artists for the thousands of local citizens and foreigners who dressed their ‘worst’ for the event.
Pattaya City, in association with Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, hosted the Halloween Festival which started off the impending high season with performances from Thai hip hop heroes Joey Boy and Budda Bless plus Thai rock sensations Sweet Mullet, Hangman and Tik Chero.

The highlight of the night was the Halloween Fancy Contest, which was a dance competition that brought colors and screams to the night.
The party was packed with smiling local citizens.
Mr. Itthiphol Kunplome, Mayor of Pattaya said, “This is the first time for Pattaya to organize a Halloween event. I believe that it is a good start to the high season to come. Because this year was such a success, it will now be an annual event.”
“There will also be the New Year’s party to look forward to which we will start celebrating beginning with Christmas on December 25 – 31. There will be a 15 minute continuous display of fireworks as well on New Year’s Eve,” he added.
