Pattaya City Receives Award for Excellent Service

The identification card making department of Pattaya City received an award from the Ministry of the Interior for its fast service.
Mr. Wongsuk Sawaddeewanich, Director of Department of Provincial Administration presided over the awarding of Pattaya its Best Registration Department Award for 2009 for the city’s speedy service coordinated with the new Smart ID campaign. The award was graciously accepted by Mr. Wuttiphol Jareonphon,
Chief of Permanent Secretary Office.Mr. Sawaddeewanich said, “The Department of Provincial Administration has been continuously developing and improving the Registration Department of each province. We have also been seeking the best city that can offer the fastest and greatest service since 1985. The reason we decided to have an award is so that we can encourage all cities to compete to be the best.”
“Our main purpose is to make sure that citizens are provided with the best, as well as, fast and correct service,” he added.
