Japanese Beauty Crowned Miss International Queen 2009
Daniela Marques from Brazil the second runner up, Haruni Ai from Japan the winner, and Kangsada Wongdudsdaniadeekhun from Thailand first runner up.
Pattaya’s world-famous Tiffany Cabaret once again astonished Thai TV viewers nationwide and the large audience that packed their auditorium with the glamorous Miss International Queen 2009 Pageant.
This year’s winner was 37-year-old Haruni Ai from Japan. This is only her second pageant competition. Judges said she won because of her exuberant personality and stunning beauty.

The beautiful Japanese transexual beat 17 over stunning beauties to win the crown in the Miss International Queen 2009. The first place prize came with US$10,000 and other gifts from sponsors, valued at nearly one million baht.
The fifth Miss International
Queen 2009 was held at the Tiffany Theater Pattaya, where 18 beautiful ‘women of the second category,’ from eleven countries, graced the stage in hopes of winning the world famous title.The final round, in which contes
tants appeared in evening gowns and swimsuits, was held on October 31. There was also a talent category. The number of contestants was whittled down to ten and then three. The three finalists were Daniela Marques from Brazil, Haruna Ai from Japan and our very own Kangsada Wongdudsadeekhun, who held the title of Miss Tiffany Universe 2008.
In addition to the US$10,000 cash, the winner, Haruna Ai, from Japan, received the Miss International Queen 2009 sash, a diamond crown, a trophy, a one year gift voucher from Woodlands Hotel & Resort, a return ticket from Bangkok to Phuket on Bangkok Airways, a gift voucher from Pratunam Poly Clinic valued at US$500, ‘Netbook’ from Banana IT, a dietary supplement from Nuriss and other gifts from sponsors.
In addition, Miss Haruna won a special award for her ‘Like a Virgin’ performance.

dudsdaniadeekhun, aged 22, was first runner up and received US$2,000. She also won the ‘Media Favorite’ award. Daniela Marques, from Brazil, took third place and received US$1500.
Other winners were Sunne Dee- Lite from the USA, who won the prize for Best Evening Gown and Khun Sorrawee Nuttee or ‘Jazz” for Best National Dress. Khun Nuttee holds the Miss Tiffany Universe title for 2009. The Miss Congeniality award went to Godiva Marie Arcachie from the Philippines. Anna Marie, also from the Philippines, won the Miss Ripley’s Popular Vote.
