“Pop Music Awards 2009” held at Bali Hai Pier
Pop Music Awards 2009 concert featured by a famous Thai teen idol, Dan Vorawag, a pop singer from Sony Thailand Music Company.
Thousands of Pop music lovers recently fulfilled their musical desires at the POP concert represented by Thailand independent channel called POP. The concert was called “Plus Shopping Mall Presents POP Music Awards 2009” under the theme of “No Music No Life”.

The concerts started at 3 pm when all interested fan clubs gathered up in front of stage before the live performance. The lead band was the Girly Berry Band and followed by many famous ones such as Lao Lom, C-Quint, Stamp, Slot Machine, Brand New Sunset, Circle 22, Knock the Knock, and The Rich Man Toys bands.
The highlight was released at 9pm when all award winners and nominees were announced. There were 11 awards prepared for the best artist in different musical fields, but the most attractive artist was a Korean singer “Num Hyon Chun”, a dancing singer.
In addition, a fresh teen idol called AJ was awarded, followed by awards to seven handsome guys of the 2PM band who participated in a tree planting project at the Youth Stadium just a few hours before the concert began.
Another exciting event occurred late night at 02.30 am when the very famous Thai teens’ idol Silly Fool Band performing on stage. The over 12-hour concert was completed and all POP followers were highly impressed.

After the concert, Greet and Meet activities between the musical artists and their fan clubs was held at Bali Hai. All artists celebrated and had fun with their followers by playing several games provided by the organizers and causing the Bali Hai pier to be crowded and full of joy.
This concert was provided by POP Channel in order to return benefits to its fans as well as to encourage all musical artists to create great music in the future.
