Siam Bayshore goes green with environmental campaign

The annual project was conducted for the 12th consecutive year under the theme of ‘Love Thailand, Love the World.’ The campaign included the ‘Reduce Global Warming’ purse-making contest and “Love Your Thailand” dressmaking contest for hotel employees. The dresses and purses were all made from recycled materials.

Mrs. Phensom Nithibunyaphant, president of the hotel’s ‘Love Thailand, Love The World’ campaign, said: “Siam Bayshore is concerned about the plight of global warming, which is affecting our world at an alarming rate. We can see this from the temperatures that are constantly increasing, often reaching unbearable peaks in the afternoon. The underlying cause of global warming is the emissions of gases as a result of human activities, so we have to raise awareness in our society to reduce such emissions and curb such harmful activities.”
