Buddhist holy tree "Sri Maha Phoe" is being paraded to a planting spot provided in Nong Nooch tropical garden.


Nong Nooch Tropical Garden and Local Administrative Organizations were associated in organizing the religious event for planting the Buddhist holy tree “Sri Ma Ha Phoe” – a legendary tree in the Buddhist ancient history, with the Lord Buddha using it as his living quarter on his enlightening period. The Sri Ma Ha Phoe tree was originally grown in India.



The said planting project was conducted in order to distribute the merit for Thailand HMJ the Queen.

 

Managing Director of Nong Nooch Tropical Garden revealed that the project was well cooperated by many organizations from both of civil and religious sections such as Najomtien Local Administrative Organization, Nong Nooch Tropical Garden management and staff, Najomtien headman and his crew, teachers and students of Sattahip Vittaya School, and thousands Buddhists from here and neighboring areas.

 

The activity took place on the area of Kham Luang TowerFrench Garden located in Nong Nooch Tropical Garden. It was honored by Senior Monk Viboon Dhammabarn, abbot of Sattahip temple, who acted as the religious chairman. The main objective is to dedicate merit for Thailand beloved Queen on the upcoming auspicious occasion of HMJ the Queen birthday, August 12.

 

Mr. Kampol continued to reveal, “It is one of the greatest Buddhism assembling in the same purpose of doing such the auspicious ceremony. All participants strongly intended to further distribute merits for Thailand’s beloved Queen, as well as to instill fortunate for them. The religious ceremony was honored and attended by many senior revered monks from different temples in Sattahip and neighboring temples in Chonburi.

 

In the ceremony, the auspicious stone from different holy place from Nepal were used as the combination in the amulet molding ceremony in order to further presenting them to Thailand far south on duty-soldiers.
