A group of Pattaya foreign businessmen living in Pattaya led by Barry Sullivan, Managing Director of Siam Pacific Engineering is planning an extraordinary party to raise funds for much-needed repairs to local Pattaya schools following the severe budget cuts for Pattaya City ordered by the central government. The party will be held on Sunday, August 16 at the Dale Plaza on Thappraya Road and tickets are now available.



Barry Sullivan, an Optimist Club member, to plan the fund-raiser after the Optimist Club of Thailand began looking for contributors to, formed the group of well-known professionals a school rehabilitation project for Pattaya schools with the support of Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome, Optimist Club member and former Member of Parliament Chanyut Hengtrakul and Banglamung Chief of District Mongol Dhamakittikul.

The group is made up of leaders in the design, construction, security, real estate and publishing industries who have helped to make Pattaya an excellent destination over the many years they have lived in Pattaya. Siam Pacific Engineering, Scandinavian Homes, Infinite, Stephan Gormley and Associates, Bastion Security, Swedtech and Pattaya Times are among the companies organizing the event with MC Greg Carroll.

The mayor will attend with many leading Thai dignitaries.

Four well-known bands will perform and an excellent buffet with open bar will entertain the nearly 1,000 Pattaya elite who are expected to attend the fundraiser scheduled to open at 5:00 pm and run until 10:00 pm. The group will encourage all those able to stop by for food, drinks, music, fun and prizes while helping the greater good of the young children who will benefit directly from the contributions.

There will be a raffle held for many incredible prizes like original artwork, a 40-inch LED TV, custom glass works and various other high valued prizes contributed to raise money for the needy area schools. Tickets are only 100 baht for one or a book of ten chances for 1,000  There will also be an auction for luncheon dates with some of the finest coyote girls from Walking Street.

There is still for additional sponsors to join the team of organizers. Platinum sponsors are contributing 50,000 baht, Gold sponsors 25,000 baht and Silver sponsors 10,000 baht. A commemorative program will list all sponsors who will also get an award from the mayor.
