Stars come out for major tattoo festival

Among those at the event, held at Central Festival, was famous Thai tattoo artist Master Noo Kanpai – who gave actress Angelina Jolie her famous tattoo on her back,, along with many famous Thai movie stars and celebrities.

Central Marketing Manager Dr. Natkit Tangpoonsintana revealed that it was the first time such a record gathering had been attempted in Thailand. The event attracted 500 tattoo followers who were all part of the new record and also saw the transformation of the Sun Cane Multipurpose Space in front of Central Festival. The infinity-signed space refers to the unlimited beauty of tattoos. Master Noo Kanpai also spoke to people about the science of tattoos, and its advantages.

Among the stars who turned out were actors Ploi Cherman, May Pitchanat, Kratae Supaksorn, and Poey Parnwad, who provided their bodies for a painting sheet as artists created pieces under the theme of “The Power of Asian Tattoos: Beautiful Art”. A 4-meter long fabric was painted by famous Italian tattoo artist Decarole Denis. In addition, Thai rapper Joey Boy and Kan Koh Club entertained crowds, and upcoming band Spider Monkey also played a mini-concert.B12
