Top bankers praise government

The Bank of Thailand Governor Tarisa Watanagase said, “The government’s policy to stimulate the economy has encouraged more spending by the public during the period.

Another major concern is the government’s budget money must be injected into targeted programs that must be transparent enough to regain the publics’ confidence.

“Abhisit government has been administering the country since December 22 and was able to solve economic problems during its first six months in office as with several other countries which encountered economic turmoil,” said Tarisa.
