Pattaya Celebrates Mother’s Day, August 12

A special parade and fireworks display will be held to mark the birthday of HM the Queen Sirikit. This year’s National Mother’s
Day events will be celebrated just as widely as in previous years. This celebration is held every year on her birthday, August 12.
This year’s celebration will feature parades from students, private and public groups, starting in front of the Royal Garden Shopping Mall, then heading down
Any interested organizations wishing to participate in the ceremony should prepare at least one or two floral garlands to present before HM the Queen’s photograph.
In addition, representatives are recommended to dress appropriately. Government and local officials, along with residents, should wear blue shirts.
