The Burapha University’s Faculty of Tourism Management associated with Pattaya City to sign the contract to establish the Pattaya Center for Sustainable and Excellent Business Management and Entrepreneurship (PCEBE) – A tourism consulting center to provide tourism related advices. The center will be officially opened, one location in front of Pattaya City Hall and another one in Jomtien, on September.



The Burapha University’s Faculty of Tourism Management Associate Dean Dr. Issaraporn Polnarak revealed that due to the current economic recession, many of Pattaya’s tourism entrepreneurs were affected, and they tried to deal with the problems, sometimes not wisely enough. Therefore the above stated consulting centers will be provided to assist and instruct those who have tourism management problems. This is in order for them to manage and deal with their problem wisely and correctly according to the appropriate theory.

 

Polnarak continued to reveal that Burapha University’s Faculty of Tourism Management and Pattaya City intended to solve all tourism problems and develop Pattaya City to be a number one tourism destination. As well, the tourism entrepreneurs in Pattaya will be educated and informed on how to deal with their problems correctly.

 

Pattaya Mayor Itthiphol Khunplome stated that the center will surely stimulate Pattaya tourism because all officials selected to provide consulting are experts who have been educated and well trained in the tourism related fields.

 

Director of PCEBE Veerasit Piticharoenporn revealed that the center management will be provided into 3 sessions of training one-stop service, and special activity. The pilot centers will be officially opened and operated this September; one location in front of the Pattaya City Hall and another one will be located on Jomtien beach opposite the Serf Kitchen restaurant.
