The marine saving and Cooperative members are being educated and instructed to live on the agricultural concept in order to reduce their living expenses.

A training session on "Agricultural Products' Benefits" was recently provided for more than 50 of Sattahip's marines, held at Chonburi Agricultural and Technology College. The opening was chaired by Admiral Arun Thongtae.

Admiral Surin Gerdmontree, manager of Marine Saving and Credit Cooperative, Royal Thai Marine Corps, explained that the Marine Cooperative Management is concerned with the marines’ lives, as the cost of living has been rising during the current economic crisis.

Therefore, the Marine Saving and Cooperative, in cooperation with Chonburi Agricultural and Technology College, is providing an alternative training course called "Agricultural Products' Benefits" aimed at training and educating people regarding how agricultural products are useful, especially from an economic perspective.

The goal is to train and educate people to live sufficiently according to HM the King’s concept of "Sufficient Economy". All participants in this course should, at the least, be proficient in reducing their costs of living, which are getting higher by the day, by using agricultural concepts and dealing wisely with the current economic situation.

Admiral Thongtae, Deputy Commander of Sattahip Naval Base's Marines Corps, revealed that the training activity was organized especially for marine officers to help them better manage their living expenses during the current economic crisis.
