Here’s Your Chance to Design the next Toyota Yaris or Vios

If you think you have what it takes to design the next hot car, Toyota is accepting applications for the third ‘Toyota Extreme Stylish’ competition. The contest was created to enhance the art of car design, as well as, to encourage Thai teenagers to spend time doing something that is creative. During the contest, new design techniques will be displayed; ideas will be exchanged and new groups of friends will be formed.
According to Mr. Wuttikorn Suriyashuntananon, Senior Assistant Manager, “Toyota has been organizing the ‘Toyota Extreme Stylish’ competition
for three years, now. The aim is to find the top designers for the Toyota Yaris and Toyota Vios. Interested artists can apply now until October 30th for the chance to win up to 640,000 baht worth of prizes.”“During the past two years, with over 100 beautifully designed cars submitted, we have seen the development in designing techniques and use of materials. We don’t judge on the speed. We want to focus on the car that stands out most and the car that is eye catching. The key is to create a design that blends well with both the interior and exterior,” added Mr. Suriyashuntananon.
In addition, “The Best Innovative Show” prize is anxiously anticipated.
Entrants can be assured that the judging will be fair and transparent, as Toyota has invited many honorable guest judges, including Mr. Peeraphong Iamlumnow, Vice President of Grand Pix International Co., Ltd.; Ms. Samaiporn Prapatphong, Managing Director of Inter- Media Consultant Co., Ltd.; Mr. Juttaporm Khanmanee, Managing Director of Automotive Square Co., Ltd.; Mr. Kritsanaphong Kiattisak, a famous interior design architect and Ms. Santhong Keatoutong, a model who has been involved in fashion design for many years.
