Miss Poland 2009 Beauty Contestants Visit Pattaya
Twenty-four finalists from the Miss Poland 2009 Beauty Contest, as well as, Miss Poland 2008 (Miss Barbara Tatara) were welcomed to the Joe Luis Theater, located in the Pattaya City Walk. The beautiful ladies are in Thailand to film to film video footage, whilst partaking in various activities in preparation for the competition.
Upon arrival at the Joe Luis Theater, the ladies were treated to a lovely welcome dinner and party, hosted by Mr. Niti Kungkrut, of TAT Pattaya, and Mr. Itthipol Kunplome, Mayor of Pattaya.
After spending the night at the Amari Orchid Resort Hotel, the contestants visited Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, where they were welcomed with a parade of elephants; with Thai drum music in the background. All the lovely ladies received hand made
flower necklaces. They also enjoyed traditional Thai dance performances and got to go elephant riding. Later, the finalists took photographs with the elephants; while the braver ones let the elephants step on them. Everyone enjoyed a delicious and authentic Thai meal at Plumplerng Restaurant, at the Nong Nooch Tropical Garden,
Miss Poland 2009 finalists were excited to see and pat Thai elephants for the first time.
Mr. Kungkrut stated, “Once the video footage has been broadcast in Poland, people will become more aware of Thailand, especially Nong Nooch Tropical Garden, which will be good for the tourism industry.”
When Mr. Kungkrut was asked who he thought would be the winner, he slyly said, “A unique dark haired contestant with a mark on her lips and an outstanding forehead is very popular according to the photographers.”
After a great visit to Pattaya, the stunning ladies headed to Phuket.
