On the night of October 15, Hard Rock Café celebrated its eighth anniversary with a ‘rockin’ performance from the Thai band, Fahrenheit.

The event started off with guests bobbing their heads in sync with performances from a Filipino band, while quenching their thirst with free Corona Beer and Absolute Vodka. When the VIP guests arrived, such as Mr. Wirawat Khakai, Deputy Mayor Pattaya and Ms. Alisa Phantusuk, Managing Director of Tiffany Theater, the event officially began.

Managing Director Mr. George Hazard took the stage to give a short talk on  how the Hard Rock Café came to be. He also entertained the crowd with a short, live guitar performance and then declared the night as an ‘open mic night.’

Champagne bottles were popped open and a guitar-shaped chocolate cake was sliced with help from the VIP guests. Guests at every table, both Thais and foreigners, got to try the cake and all agreed that it was ‘rockin’ excellent.

Even the staff of the Hard Rock Café (aka the ‘rockers’) got to partake in the evening’s fun. Some got up on tables and some stayed on the floor and danced, in unison, to ‘YMCA’, made famous by  the Village People. The ‘rockers’ were all clad in white and some wore wings to represent a heavenly theme.
