TAT Welcomes Tourist Agents from Hong Kong

One hundred and two representatives from tourist agencies in Hong Kong were warmly welcomed to our fair city by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) Pattaya Office, in association with the Pattaya Business and Tourism Association and the International Association of Exhibitions and Events.

The event was held to strengthen the tourism relationship between Hong Kong and Thailand to facilitate tourist travel between the two areas. Participants exchanged views and experiences regarding tourism and also discussed tourism opportunities in Pattaya.

During the three day visit, Pattaya’s tourism representatives escorted the visitors to various Pattaya attractions such as the Alcazar Theater, the Floating Market, the Sanctuary of Truth and the Million Years Stone Park & Pattaya Crocodile Farm.

Once these travel professionals have experienced, first hand, some of Pattaya’s wonderful attractions, they will then be able to share their experiences with the Hong Kong tourist market. It is hoped that some of these tourists will choose to visit Pattaya during the upcoming holiday season.
