Father Ray’s Kids Enjoy a Fun Filled School Holiday
Children in the care of the Father Ray Foundation in Pattaya enjoyed an exciting fun filled October during the school holiday break. The 850 children and disabled young adults participated in activities that ranged from splashing around at the Pattaya Water Park to looking for Pooh Bear honey in Bangkok.
One of the most popular treats was an afternoon of magic at the Tuxedo Show in North Pattaya enjoyed by 250 excited youngsters. The children and their caretakers were warmly welcomed by the management team, resident magician and clown at the Tuxedo Show.
Facilities run by the Father Ray Foundation include the Vocational School for the Disabled; the Students’ Home; the Drop-In Center and the School for the Blind. The students participated in projects at the Independent Learning Center, planted rice on the farm and danced in the Sala at the Father Ray Children’s Village.
Now able to begin to forget past abuse, isolation and abandonment, these children and disabled adults, many of them orphaned, thrive in an atmosphere of love and security in a homely environment.
If you want to be a part of the Father Ray Foundation and help children find love, joy and security in life, you can send a donation in the form of cash, cheque, via the Internet or even by phone. Bear in mind that every little bit you donate helps a little one! Those with a ‘good heart’ who would like to make a donation can send it to: Father Ray Foundation, PO Box 15, Pattaya City (Sukhumvit Road, KM 145), Chonburi 20260.
