Strong objections from both the German Ambassador to Thailand and the Israeli Ambassador to Thailand about the horrific image conjured up in the minds of Holocaust victims and their descendants as well as Germans and Jewish people who could see Hitler with a Nazi salute, were issued to the Louis Tussauds Waxworks museum.

The local tourist attraction immediately covered up the poster, which carried the slogan "Hitler is not dead", after receiving complaints from the Israeli and German embassies to remove the image "in hours not days."

Posters of Bruce Lee, Mahatma Gandhi and Michael Jackson also appear in the campaign.
