The finals of the 1st Level Tennis Tournament held on June 6-7 was between Natdanai Tripataraporn from Thailand and Farruh Khaitov from Kazakhstan with the winner Natdanai 8-1.

This is the 1st LTT tournament held in Pattaya from International Players Academy that hosted a level tennis competition.  The tournament was interesting because it combined both boys and girls in the same draw.  Tennis players from Europe, Thailand, India, and Japan participated with ages ranging from 7 to 13.  CJ Colburn said “Most tournaments in Thailand are either open or age group divided competitions, but this was divided into player’s abilities.  This is a relatively new concept for Thailand and will raise the level of interest in tennis because it includes the lower level players”.   Colburn’s goal is to raise the level of interest in tennis thru teaching, coaching and conducting tournaments here in Pattaya and will hold the next tournament within the month.

Coka Cola was the official sponsor and the event was held at the TPS Courts on Thepprasit Rd.  The event was organized by Director CJ Colburn and Rung Colburn through International Players Academy.
