Carrefour Launches Aggressive Campaign to Increase ‘I Wish’ Card Membership
Carrefour Shopping Center recently launched their new marketing strategy which will provide an extremely competitive promotion aimed at increasing ‘I Wish’ Card transactions. In attempting to lure shoppers to visit Carrefour, customers will reap many benefits.
Carrefour’s Purchasing Manager, Khun Prapapan Ploisang-ngam, explained that the current hyper-market trend in employing the Royalty Marketing strategy has resulted in the company being proactive in providing many promotions to keep its customers and encourage them to return often. An example is that Carrefour’s ‘I Wish’ Card members will receive discount vouchers valued at 3%, 10%, 20%, all the way up to 100%, for every 600 baht transaction.
Other promotions will be the ‘One Price’ campaign at various departments, the ‘Buy One Get One’ offer and the ‘Half Price’ campaign. Carrefour anticipates an increase of 60- 70% in ‘I Wish’ Card membership by the time this special promotion ends.
Carrefour expects to attract new customers, as well as, increase the loyalty of current Carrefour customers. Carrefour also plans to reach current and new clients by publicizing the benefits of its stores through various media.
