Popular Walking Street restaurant, King Seafood, has engaged a professional, German chef to train its staff in cooking techniques and customer service, aimed at standardizing the establishment’s food and service to international standards.

Mrs. Premrudee Chittivuthikarn, King’s Seafood Managing Director, explained that the objective of instituting this training course was to upgrade the restaurant in all aspects of food preparation and service, in order to achieve the highest level of customer satisfaction. King’s management has selected German professional chef and customer service specialist, Ms. Sandra M. Herman, to teach essential food and customer service skills to management and staff. In addition, all chefs will be trained in many unique cooking techniques, including new dishes that will be included in the restaurant’s menu.

Ms. Herman said that she was happy to be here and explained that she has traveled all over the world. Years ago, she became quite impressed with the Thai culture and people, as well as, Thai cuisine. She gladly accepted King Seafood’s invitation to train its management and staff, as this has afforded her another chance to once again spend time in Thailand.

“’The proud-to-present’ menus I have specially prepared for this training session n are my personal favorite dishes: salad and cake. All chefs and staff will, at the least, be trained in many special and interesting cooking skills and techniques which they will be able to personally apply,” said Ms. Herman.
