The sun decided to take a break, which was fine for the players; however, there was a strong breeze that had quite an adverse effect for some of the players as their scores attested. The Pattaya Country Club course was in very good condition with crews continuously working to improve the course as well as increase the flora. Back at Caddy Shack II a tally of the cards showed Dale Murphy coming in ahead of the pack with 40 points to win the Monthly trophy honors. Recent returnee to the Land of Smiles, Lamar Short, came in with a 38 to take 2nd place. Bob Benda had a respectable 35 but the scores dropped drastically after that. Herbie Ishinaga came through once again with two types of sausages and snacks accompanied by available beverages of one's choice."
